Lighted Christmas Parade in South Milwaukee

Celebrate an old-fashioned Christmas at City Hall from 3:00-6:00 p.m., including visits with Santa, Hayrides, Ice Cream, Movies and Face Painting.  and food and beverage for purchase. The parade starts at 6:30 p.m at 15th & Madison Avenue – South to Marion Avenue. A Tree Lighting will follow.

The parade has been a holiday tradition for over half a century! It brings together local civic groups, businesses, schools, public services, and amateur and professional entertainers each year on the Sunday before Thanksgiving to officially begin the holiday season for thousands of excited spectators.

Held each year on the Friday following Thanksgiving, the Holiday Stroll includes a nighttime parade, tree lighting ceremony, food, music, and more. It’s the perfect opportunity to enjoy a free pony, train, or trolley ride, visit Santa and his reindeer, and cross things off your holiday list.

The seasonal celebration features a parade with music, Dancing Grannies, racing sausages, Alaskan Malamutes, scout troops, media, and Santa in his sleigh pulled by Cupid and Vixen. It’s an evening not to miss!

The parade begins at 6:00 p.m. at the corner of Kent Avenue and Silver Spring Drive, heading east on Silver Spring Drive ending at Lake Drive in front of Sendik’s. The parade lasts about 45 minutes.

Join the fun for Grafton’s 40th Annual Christmas Parade, and Breakfast with Santa! Head to Circle B Recreation for the annual Breakfast with Santa, plus other special friends like the Minions, Bob the Builder, Dora the Explorer, and more. The parade starts at 6th Avenue and Washington Avenue (HWY 60), heads east to 12th Avenue/ Wisconsin Avenue, and continues south on Wisconsin Avenue to 7th Avenue.

The Optimist Club Christmas Parade is held at 4:30 pm on the Sunday after Thanksgiving in Downtown Menomonee Falls. (Photo credit Ray Cote) The Christmas Parade route starts at the intersection of Main Street and Harrison, travels through Downtown Menomonee Falls west on Main Street to Appleton Avenue, turns left at Appleton Avenue and travels south to Appleton Avenue and Arthur Avenue where the parade ends.

The parade is organized by the Prospect Lions Club and the route will run along National Avenue from Coffee Road to Malone Park. (163rd & National Avenue). The Tree Lighting Ceremony, sponsored by the New Berlin Lion’s Club,will follow the parade at Casper Dr.& National Ave.

The West Allis Christmas Parade is an annual holiday tradition, and one of the only night-time Christmas parade in Southeast Wisconsin. Enjoy marching bands and live performers, creative floats and vintage vehicles, meet elves, cartoon characters, and of course, wave to Santa Claus himself at the end of the parade! This year’s theme is “Lights, Camera, Christmas – Take 2!” a blockbuster celebration of the season.

The Parade will be marshaled at the 81st Street (Gate 2) State Fair Park entrance. The Parade will proceed east on Greenfield Avenue to 70th Street, then south to Orchard Avenue.

Visit Santa’s Cafe prior to the parade and enjoy tea, hot chocolate, cookies and more beginning at 3:30 p.m.  The annual Christmas tree lighting ceremony will begin at 4 p.m. at the West Allis Centennial Park Plaza on 76th and Greenfield Avenue.
