Milwaukee City Christmas Tree Lights Up ‘Cheer District’ This Friday

Milwaukee’s official city Christmas tree will have a new home this year.

In years past, the tree was set up at Milwaukee’s City Hall or in Red Arrow Park, but this year it has moved to the ‘Cheer District’ outside of the Fiserv Forum.

The tree will be lit up and on display starting Friday, November 18th. There will be a Tree Lighting Ceremony from 5:00 – 7:00 that night that includes live entertainment including DJ Shawna, the Milwaukee Ballet, the Salvation Army Brass Band and more.

There will also be live reindeer and holiday activities for all to enjoy.

Numerous other festivities will also be held in Cheer District illuminated by WE Energies throughout the holiday season.

The Milwaukee Maker’s Market will take place December 9-11 featuring seasoned crafters, artists, freelance designers, performance artists, small business owners and full-time makers.

The MECCA Sports Bar & Grill will host Breakfast with Santa on December 11 that will include pictures with Santa and Mrs. Claus, an appearance from Bango, a breakfast buffet featuring build-your-own pancake and omelet stations, and a cookie decorating kit.
